Puppy Buyers Beware

There is a growing concern in the dachshund community that there are at the present time unscrupulous breeders advertising miniature dachshunds of varying colours for sale at outrageous prices interstate.
Not only are the prices outrageous but buyers should be aware of the potential health problems that go hand in hand with colours other than the recognised Reds, Black and Tans and Dapples.
The Dachshund Club of Qld advises all potential buyers of dachsunds to check with their respective State Dachshund Clubs before buying a puppy.
